Sportskool videos via Ondemand cable feature
While looking for ONDEMAND baseball games (that I never did find) I ran across an OnDemand category via my cable box called "Sportskool".
I looked into it and found a long video with former Cub Nomar Garciaparra and a trainer demonstrating a variety of stretching and training exercises.
I think the Nomar video may have since aged off the system, but you can look for it if you wish.

A friend of mine has a son who is very skilled in basketball. They are always looking for ways to further improve his game.
Some time ago they were researching plyometrics.
This weekend I ran across a program on the Tennis cable channel about plyometics. Yes, I recorded it for them.

Just a reminder that tonight's game vs. the Phillies is on Comcast Sports Chicago PLUS.
If you're in Chicago, I'm told this will air on CLTV.
My local cable guys air the PLUS games on channel 98.
Sadly, they don't list the PLUS games in their tv listings, so Cubs fans have to set their DVR's manually...and since there are no program listings on that channel, the DVR sees the entire time between when you set the timer and the end of the recording as one program. This can weird things out if given the chance.

Did anyone catch Dusty Baker announcing last night's Cubs/Mets game on ESPN?
Any interesting quotes? Please reply and share them.
I finally ordered the ESPN HD package from the cable company. Mainly to get in those Dusty/Sandberg/Maddux/Brenly interviews on HDnet, but it also should've brought in ESPN HD to my tv. Nope! Due to a technical glitch the Cubs in HD just wasn't going to be seen on my tv. Oh well.
Glad it was re-telecast at 2am. My Tivo/DVR/PVR can catch it that way.
